Can I use tooth paste to brush my dentures?

When you have a great smile you want to protect it. While tooth paste works great on your natural teeth, it contains abrasives that can damage the surface of your dentures.  This will allow bacteria and stain to adhere to the surface making your dentures lose their shine.

There is a finish applied to the surface of your dentures to help repel food and stains from adhering.  If you are using tooth paste you are removing this.

Look for products specially formaulated for dentures. These contain both antibacterial properties and safely remove debris from the surface of your dentures. Protect your investment, ask your Denturist if what you are using is safe and effective!
